Law: Finding Secondary Sources

Mae'r dudalen hon hefyd ar gael yn Gymraeg

WHAT ARE SECONDARY SOURCES OF LAW?

The secondary sources of law are any sources other than legislation and case law (the primary sources of law). For example: books, journals, encyclopedias, digests, official publications and consultation reports etc.  They comment upon, explain and summarise the primary sources and are persuasive, but they are not the law itself.
