How do AI image generators work?

All these AI image generators take a text prompt and then turn it—as best they can—into a matching image.

These are some examples of art I created using the prompt: "a cat in a field of daisies, reading a book"

Tips on writing prompts
  • Be as descriptive as possible about the content of your image. Imagine you are talking to an artist.
    • What is happening?
    • What is the subject doing?
    • How is the subject doing this?
    • What’s happening around the subject?
    • What does the subject look like?

  • Describe the style you want e.g. cubist, pop art, sketch or if available select the style from the options
  • Avoid using abstract concepts such as love, hate, peace, beautiful, ugly. Instead use concrete nouns such as human, horse, house
  • Experiment with different prompts and revise as needed to get the results you want.
