What are Primary Resources

Primary Resources are documents, letters, pamphlets, videos or other artefacts produced close to an event in history. They are fundamental tools in history research because
they present information from witnesses' perspectives.
The Introduction to Vital Witnesses : Using Primary Sources in History and Social Studies gives an excellent overview and discussion on the definition of primary resources.
