What is Deaf Culture?

Group of deaf people, 2010 (01)

Deaf culture as defined by Wikipedia, is the 'set of social beliefs, behaviours, art, literary traditions, history, values and shared institutions of communities that are influenced by deafness and use sign language as the main means of communication'.  Deaf people who identify with this, describe themselves as Deaf with a capital D.

This section will provide further information, resources (books, journals) and links about Deaf culture.
